Yet another beautiful Sky son, Turbo was originally purchased as a family pet but had the good fortune to have an owner who was bitten by the show bug. With a little help and guidance, a lot of handling classes and training, and with myself flying out multiple times to groom him into a show dog....Turbo has made breed history by being the first Giant Schnauzer shown in Newfoundland and finishing his Championship there! He is a very typey dog with a beautiful outline and style to spare. He screams elegance with substance and boosts a fantastic rear, perfect topline, lots of forechest, long neck, beautiful head and expression. He is an easy moving dog with a stallion attitude and a love for the show ring. He finished his championship in fine fashion with multiple group placings in strong competition and he will continue to campaign as a Special with his good friend and handler Pamela Skanes.
We really look forward to using Turbo in our breeding program starting in 2009
after all his health clearances are done.
Turbo lives in St John's, NF with his proud and loving owner, Joanne Thompson. He also shares his home with big Giant 'sister', BB (also out of Sky), Joanne's hubby, Pat , and their three children. |
